The Second of May Square

 Urban Design
"A classic square has four corners. Based on this principle the proposal is a new interpretation of this concept, and how to break the tension of these focal points through the open circulation"

The new urban space is still keeping its corners: two open corners where circulation is fluid, and two more (closed) where two playgrounds are located for playing safely.

A perimeter border assures the privacy of the residents, and the general open space is now able to host new and bigger events.

The psychology of color makes an important role in the design, vibrant oranges, reds and yellows that reflect the authentic Madrid Castizo.
