La Muñoza Strategic Plan

Urban Design, Strategic Plan

Key points to develop:
- define the adjacent land use cultural and heritage values.
- redefine the River (Strategic Plan)
- liaise with the problems of the acoustic airport emission and derivated.

La Munoza is an old farm that was affected and surrounded by the new development of the T4 (Airport Terminal).

Since then, the zone has remained isolated, having emerging different uses such as industrial buildings and a gravel pit. This phenomenon is not compatible with the urban regeneration.

La Muñoza is also part of the Jarama River Natural Reserve, so this proposal is focused on the overall environmental health of the river and also on the
community use, access, and amenity of the river and parklands.
