Growing House, Sea Ranch



Situated in the Atlantic coast, it presents a misty landscape with strong winds. The area is a large field with some cypress, redwood and pine trees. 

The new extension has a very clear and simple strategies, which are present in the original building. The proposed new space uses the same growth modules, and it is structured around a central void that becomes an outdoor patio. This new volume is the swicth image of the original proposal. 

 One important point of the new design is the use of vernacular architecture, which is present in the place. A funny fact is that the interior has been carefully designed with double height spaces and crossed visions that creates a functional non-isolated rooms
